Jean Jew Award
2020 Nominations Are Open!
The award, given annually by the Council on the Status of Women and the Women's Resource and Action Center, honors a faculty, staff, or student member of the University community who has demonstrated outstanding effort or achievement in improving the status of women at the University. Deadline is February 21, 2020.
About Jean Jew
Jew established herself as a role model for women when she embarked on a decade long sexual harassment suit against the UI and the Board of Regents that she ultimately won, with a judge ordering the university to provide an environment free of such harassment.
